Fabric is the most important element for a comfortable bed sheet (Colours and designs are secondary). It is the fabric which covers you and touches you. It makes you feel warm, fresh, cool and comfortable. The prints, colors and designs are for nothing once you switch off your lights. We all perspire a lot (up to 200 ml a night! Yuk! Sorry!) the fabric needs to absorb all of this without getting your bed wet, it needs to ” breathe” to cool your body.
B-Sheets Products are made of 100 % Natural Cotton Fabric .
Cotton To Bed Sheets
Cotton is spun into Yarn of different sizes 20s, 30s, 40s, 60s etc. The higher the number, better the Fabric ( softness, texture, durability) Yarn is dyed (first) and then woven into designs and patterns which goes on to become Premium Yarn Dyed Fabrics. Expensive but awesome in Quality & looks. Weaving, dyeing and then Printing is cheaper so mid and low range bed linen are generally made from this fabric. Fabric is cut and stitched into bed linen.

B-Sheets 140 TC & above - Standard fabric 200 TC & above - Premium fabric 300 TC & above - Luxury fabric Fabrics made of 20s & below yarn and below 140 TC can be avoided for bed sheets.

Percale & Sateen Weaves
Plain /Percale weave
Plain weave is a traditional one-yarn-over and one-yarn-under weave that results in a matte finish with a cool, crisp feel. Its exceptional softness and durability means it gets better with every wash. Plain weave fabric over 200 TC (thread count) is called Percale Weave.
Sateen Weave
Sateen weave is created by laying multiple typically three warps over a single weft in a 3:1 Ratio. Sateen sheets have a shiny/ lustrous look and a silky/smooth feel. It’s important to remember that Sateen Weave Fabrics are made of cotton and different from Satin which is a shiny fabric made from synthetic fibers that don’t breathe.

Jacquard Weave
Jacquard Fabrics woven on a special loom, are characterized by complex woven-in designs, often with large design repeats or tapestry effects. Jacquard fabric features a raised pattern that is woven (instead of printed) onto the fabric.
Dobby Weave
Dobby is a woven fabric produced on the Dobby loom, characterized by geometric patterns and extra texture in the cloth. The modern Dobby looms are computer controlled enabling intricate beautiful designs to be woven using multiple colour yarn
